The report focuses on the milestones reached by the organization in 2017, highlighting the results of efforts toward enabling communities where people are productive, creative, self-reliant, and proud to be Filipino. Carrying the theme, “To Reach New Heights,” the report shows how the foundation served its stakeholders better, faster, and stronger in 2017, and how it intends to do continue doing it in the years to come.
Efforts “to reach new heights” are captured by the cover image, which depicts three talented young dancers scaling exciting heights by honing their talent and using it to further develop themselves. They may move differently, but they move together, achieving a dynamism that is as inspiring as it is breathtaking. The dancers on the cover image are, in fact, alumni of Ayala Foundation’s CENTEX, which is Ayala Foundation’s flagship education program. They are also dance scholars of STEPS Foundation.
During the year, Ayala Foundation sought to magnify the impact of its initiatives by inspiring and enabling its stakeholders within the conglomerate, communities, and the country. Through programs that help improve lives, Ayala Foundation continues to help its program communities achieve their full potential.
In 2017, the foundation’s programs were present in 26 provinces in virtually all geographic regions in the country. Some of its programs also reached other parts of the world, such as the United States (through the Filipino Young Leaders Program) and Venice, Italy (through the participation at the Venice Biennale). Many of its programs and services continue to be readily available online, and are therefore easily accessible to anyone in the world.
Truly, 2017 was a milestone year for Ayala Foundation, and these milestones are shared with the organizations and the individuals who collaborated with Ayala and enabled the programs it envisioned.
