Ayala Foundation facilitates computer donations for Calauan youth

A total of 50 computers will soon be used by the youth of a relocation site in Calauan, Laguna, as tools for e-learning, which may help them in securing gainful employment or other opportunities for livelihood.

On April 15 the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco-Calauan, eSkills Network Inc., and Ayala Foundation Inc. signed a memorandum of agreement for the benefit of the youth of Southville 7, a 176-hectare site where as many as 8,000 families (or 56,000 individuals) have been relocated.

Ayala Foundation facilitated the donation of 50 computers that will be allotted for the use of Calauan youth. Meanwhile, the Salesian brothers will provide the appropriate space for the use of the computers. Lastly, eSkills Network will take charge of designing and implementing the e-learning curriculum for the youth who qualify for the program.
