“Be different, but be relevant,” #AYLC2016 delegates told

Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) President Ruel T.  Maranan today welcomed 81 participants of the Ayala Young Leaders Congress 2016 with a challenge to make a difference in the lives of fellow Filipinos, especially those who belong to the marginalized sector of society.

“You can be different, but you have to be relevant,” Maranan said, emphasizing that the Congress, on its own, will not provide the young with solutions to the problems that they perceive or see in the country.  Rather, the AFI President added, the Congress will just be a guide especially for the young on how to push things along.

Now on its 18th year, the AYLC boasts of a proud line-up of alumni who are now serving government, doing business or pursuing social work, among other activities in the tradition of servant-leadership that AYLC stands for.
