The Ayala Young Leaders Congress Program

The Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) brings together 80 of the most promising student leaders from colleges and universities from all over the country. The Congress is a four-day summit involving workshops, lectures, outdoor activities, plenary sessions and discussions designed to hone the students’ leadership skills and potentials.

The AYLC is a keystone of “Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders”, a youth development program launched by Ayala Corporation in 1998 as a concrete expression of commitment to national development. AYLC is anchored on the company’s belief that quality education and values-based leadership formation go hand in hand to equip the Filipino youth for their present and future role in nation-building. AYLC hopes to contribute to the development over time of a powerful group of change agents and servant leaders from among young Filipinos.

The range of participants’ background is broad. There are no quotas per course or region for either nominations or selection of participants. Participants are chosen through a rigorous application process that considers not only academic achievements, but more importantly, track record of committed service and leadership involvement. As of last year’s Congress, the Ayala Young Leaders Alumni Association has 1,449 members. Most of them still keep in touch and work together to realize their dreams of creating a better future for our country.

Empowering leadership.

Passion for service.

Great love for country.
